With weather conditions continuing to be rainy and the park conditions already being wet, the Parks Department is concerned for the safety of our kids and volunteers. Therefore, we will be canceling the Kid Fish Derby scheduled for October 24, 2015. Please check back with us for details of future events
The City of Sanger’s Fishing Derby contest is scheduled for October 24th 2-4 PM. The event is free (excluding the bait) and open to children 4-15. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place as well as the smallest fish, and heaviest fish. Registration starts at 1 PM at the Sanger Sports Park.
Sanger Residents have reported fraudulent calls from people claiming to be from the IRS. Scammers are asking people to pay outstanding monies within a certain amount of time. The IRS does not make phone calls.
