Building Inspections

Building Inspections is responsible for the review and permitting of construction work performed within the city limits.  Building permits are required for most residential and commercial construction work, including the creation of new structures, remodeling, finish outs of shell spaces, and additions.  Building Inspections consists of three employees, the Building Inspector, the Development Services Secretary, and the Director of Development Services.

The Building Inspector is responsible for the review and approval of building permit applications.  The Building Inspector is also responsible for conducting inspections to verify compliance with local building regulations.
