UTILITY BILLING HOURS:

NEW ACCOUNTS:
As a new customer, you are required to complete an application, place deposits, and pay connect fees to set up new service. These services include water, wastewater, garbage, and electric.
In order to comply with the Federal Trade Commission’s Identity Theft Prevention Program, which the City of Sanger follows, you will need to appear in person at City Hall and provide us with a valid Driver’s License as well as a lease agreement or closing documents for your residence in order for the account to become active. All deposits must be received prior to turning on service.
ACCOUNT TRANSFERS:
If you have a current account with us, and are simply moving from one location to another, you must pay your current balance at your old address before service can be activated at your new address. You will still be required to provide us the new lease agreement or closing papers for your new residence.

Commercial Service Deposits: A $100 deposit for water is required, with the exception of any high-use facility, which is a $200 deposit. There is a $200 deposit for small commercial electric service; $500 for large commercial. Occupancy Permit required prior to any utility connection is $30.00. To obtain an Occupancy Permit contact Development Services at 940-458-2059. Development Services is located at 201 Bolivar Street.
