July 14, 2017 - Below is a letter from the project manager of the McReynolds Road Construction:
Residents of Sanger, August 14, 2017
Pavecon Public Works is under contract with the City of Sanger to reconstruct and improve McReynolds Road. During the upcoming construction there will be revised traffic patterns. Beginning today August 14, 2017 we are going to implement a traffic switch that will allow two way traffic from the end of the new concrete to East Ridge. School is starting this week and the need for two way traffic is mandatory. This will be accomplished using temporary traffic signals. When traffic is stopped at one of the signals at Lake Ridge or Indian Lane traffic will be unable to turn on red. Once the light is green traffic can travel east or west on McReynolds from Lake Ridge or Indian Lane. Please understand the lights will govern the traffic that has access to the one lane of paving provided. We will begin this work after the morning rush hour. It will be in place before the afternoon rush hour.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at this information listed below. We want to complete this project with as a little inconvenience as possible. I appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work toward completing this project.

July 17, 2017 - The intersections of 5th/Wayne and 5th/Turtle Creek will be closed for approximately 4 weeks. This is due to the construction that is being done on 5th Street. We apologize for any inconvenience and delays.
You may notice that there are material on the side of the road on 5th street. The material is for a structure that will be built under the street. At this time they will have that section of 5th street (between Turtle Creek/Wayne and Cowling) down to one lane. There will be a temporary traffic light to assist in traffic control. So the street will not be completely shut down, but possible a delay in travel times.
McReynolds Road- 600 Day Project
Plan to cut down the hills and fill in the valleys on McReynolds Road, as well as widen the lanes from 10 feet with no shoulders to 12 feet with shoulders.
*Due to some unseen circumstances, this project was put on hold. It will be back on schedule June 1, 2017.
Detours will be in effect during the summer months. We apologize for the inconvenience.
